The Institute for the History of Mediterranean Europe is endowed with three important and innovative digital tools that, through the web, allow a wide dissemination of its scientific results. -our researchers and technicians set up three editorial boards that assess the content to be published, edit and put online the Series Europa e Mediterraneo. In the section A glance at the past, we will gradually make available the volumes of the Institute’s Series on Italo-Iberian relations (Irii) and the Journal Medioevo. Saggi e Rassegne.
These publications – for the Series, also in the printed version – are widely present in the catalogues of the world’s leading libraries and, as far as digitised texts are concerned, in the most important websites for indexing and catalogues of digital resources.
Series Europa e Mediterraneo
The online Series Europa e Mediterraneo. Storia e immagini di una comunità internazionale (Europe and the Mediterranean. History and images of an international community) was launched in 2010 as an institutional publication of the National Research Council, published by the Institute for Mediterranean European History with the aim of restyling Isem’s printed Series, already established since 2004, and converting it into the more evolved e-book format.
