RiMe. Rivista dell’Istituto di Storia dell’Europa Mediterranea (ISSN: 2035-794X) is an open-access research Journal founded by the Institute for the History of Mediterranean Europe (Isem) of the National Research Council (CNR) that publishes empirical research, historiographical overviews and methodological focuses in the field of European and Mediterranean History, from the Middle Ages to the present day.
Each volume of RiMe has a different ISBN, and a DOI is assigned to each issue and article in the Journal.
RiMe addresses scholars from different countries, organisations and research groups in formal, non-formal and informal contexts to promote and support their collaboration around common scientific interests on topics related to the historical identities of Mediterranean Europe and their external projections. The Journal is multidisciplinary and combines methodologies and critical paths in the humanities, particularly history (medieval, modern and contemporary), literature and the social sciences. RiMe is intended as a place of debate for an audience of specialists and, at the same time, as an instrument for disseminating research results in civil society.
RiMe. Rivista dell’Istituto di Storia dell’Europa Mediterranea was acknowledged as Rivista di Classe B (B Level) in the evaluation carried out by ANVUR, the institution appointed by the Ministry of Education and Research to evaluate research institutes and scientific production.
The RiMe Journal has two annual issues: in June and in December.
